The 6-Step Product Selector

Choose Your VELUX Window Specification

Pick a size

Step 1

There are a wide range of sizes and combinations available to choose from. The most popular rooflight purchase is the MK04 (78x98cm). The largest individual rooflight in both width and height is the UK10 (134x160cm).

You can explore all size options using our useful size graph on the New Installation page of our website.

You can also visit the VELUX price calculator to research all options and product prices:

Top or bottom operated

Step 2

The Velux rooflight windows come as centre-pivot or top-hung.

Velux top-hung roof windows give you a full, open view of your skyline and maximise the amount of natural daylight that can be allowed in, the perfect choice for loft conversions with roof windows in easy reach. If your roof window should be placed out-of-reach or if you want ultimate comfort, the remote controlled VELUX INTEGRA® roof window is the answer.

Control mode

Step 3

Dependent on the model selected, you can choose for your window to operate as manual, electric or solar.

If your roof window should be placed out-of-reach or if you want ultimate comfort, again, the remote controlled VELUX INTEGRA® electric or solar roof window is the answer.

Not all window sizes are available in all three control modes, please enquire with us directly for more details.

Internal finish

Step 4

Dependent on the chosen rooflight, you have the choice of three finishes:

- White painted pine (Standard)

- Pine (Standard)

White Polyurethane is not available for the following units:

PK25, MK27, CK01, SK01, BK04, PK04, UK10, MK12

Glazing options

Pick a blind

Step 6

VELUX offer a wide range of blinds which you can explore by visiting Velux Blinds Direct:

www.veluxblindsdirect.co.uk

Many customers opt for standard VELUX blackout blinds. The VELUX blackout roller blind gives you the best total darkness 24/7. The blind has a reflective aluminium coating on the rear side that reflects heat from the sun in summer whilst retaining heat in the winter. Blackout blinds are ideal for installing in bedrooms, children rooms and home cinemas.

Instate a VELUX lightwell and be gone with dark, unventilated areas. Allow light and air to reach the center of your home and with the option of solar powered windows, it's never been easier to create that atrium effect.

The VELUX cabrio balcony roof window adds air, light and a great view to your home. The upper section is top hung and opens outwards at 45 degrees, whilst the bottom unfolds into a glazed balcony with side rails. It's triple-glazed as standard, making it extremely energy efficient.

Installing VELUX sun tunnel light tubes is the perfect way to cheer up those dark corners and get natural daylight into your room. Experience the changing light of the seasons and times of the day. Add a sun tunnel light tube anywhere there is 6 metres or less between your room and roof.

VELUX heritage conservation roof windows are specially designed to preserve and enhance the original features of historic buildings, while providing modern features and great thermal performance. They can be installed in half the time of other leading conservation roof windows.
